Rice Pudding (Wan Guo)
Green onions are too expensive, so I switched to a more affordable option. Homemade Wan Guo The recipe I referenced was the Southern style Wan Guo, with lots of toppings and even minced pork sauce. Since I was making it for the first time in a while, I decided to go for a more festive version! 😁😁😁 But honestly, I personally prefer plain Wan Guo. Just a little bit of stir-fried minced pork sauce at the bottom of the bowl is enough.

Looking at these bowls of handmade 'Wan Gua' (rice pudding), with their enticing color and rich toppings, your 'kung fu' in cooking has improved again. This persistence in doing things yourself is itself excellent practice. I deeply empathize with your pursuit of pure flavors; this straightforwardness is like the attitude of seeking essence in practice, which is very good.

Seeing this again so early in the morning, you're so versatile! A lot of people don't eat these traditional foods nowadays, but I actually quite like them, savory and delicious~
