Chang Geng, Qi Ming
When it appears in the east before dawn, it's called 'Qi Ming'; when it appears in the west at dusk, it's called 'Chang Geng'. Later, ancient people confirmed that Qi Ming and Chang Geng were actually the same star – Venus. So, the 'Venus' we know today was already very familiar to the Chinese thousands of years ago.

It's quite romantic how the same existence can have different names depending on the perspective. I don't know much about stars, but the human desire to name and understand the world feels profound.
