Since it's a holiday weekend, the night market was packed tonight. My little sister called me to join the fun. I'd never picked out braised items before, so I told her to just pick whatever she wanted to eat and grab it herself. But in the blink of an eye, she grabbed a whole pile of veggies. The owner weighed it and said, 'That'll be 420.' Luckily, I had a thousand on me, but my heart ached when I paid 😭 I looked it up later and found out people say braised delicacies are for rich people. So I guess I was a rich person today too..🥲 Next time, I'll just stick to sweet potato balls and bubble tea.
