There's no choice, since there aren't any near my home or office. I've been seeing photos of people eating Black Thunder Chocolate on Facebook lately, and the more I see it, the more I want it! I searched online like crazy, but nearby only had papaya or matcha flavors 😮💨😮💨 Just as I was about to give up, I luckily saw a post from a netizen in a soft serve ice cream group, and found out that the 'Songqing Store' at Exit 7 of Nanjing Fuxing Station sells it! Even though it's an hour-long bus ride, thankfully it's a direct route with no transfers, and it's just a short walk after getting off, so I decided to go for it. My daughter kept laughing at me the whole way, saying my butt would be sore from sitting on the bus for so long 🫠. But on such a hot day, eating ice cream is just perfect (excuse)! We each had one, and even paid an extra 6 NTD to upgrade to chocolate chips. The first bite, the cold, refreshing chocolate soft serve melted in my mouth, and the fatigue from the hour-long bus ride instantly disappeared! Halfway through, I added the chocolate crisps, and the crunchy texture combined with the rich chocolate elevated the deliciousness to another level, pure bliss! 🥰 After finishing the ice cream, since the store was in a food court, I took my daughter to have lunch and do some shopping. Today was truly a day of eating to my heart's content, feeling completely satisfied! Now, with a heart full of happiness, I'm taking the bus for another hour back home~
