Reading Check-in | Second Visit to a Great Cafe☕🛋️

Midterms next week~ But it's a long weekend the week before midterms, and the library's closed, so I had no choice but to come to a cafe~😋🩷 (At least that's what I told my dad lol) Good afternoon everyone~ This is the 'Independent Thinking Cafe☕' I introduced in a previous post. I was shocked the first time I came; the interior is no less quiet than a library, making it perfect for studying or working. Many people stay from opening until evening~ You don't have to worry about occupying a seat for too long! (No time limit, outlets available! Minimum charge is just one drink, and there's a water dispenser if you finish your drink, so you can refill your own water~) 🧇 Tried new flavors this time (all subjective reviews below): 🔸$80 Salted Butter Pound Cake ⭐⭐⭐ Hmm.. I guess I'm a pig that can't appreciate fine dining. To me, it tasted like soft toast with salt sprinkled on it~ (Edit: Someone just pointed out that if a fork can cut it, it's pound cake. It's supposed to look like this lol) 🔸$150 Hazelnut Latte ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I personally loved it! I think if you also like hazelnut, you'll love it too~ The coffee blends with the hazelnut aroma, giving it more flavor than a plain latte. Another day defeated by physics and chemistry, but thankfully, with delicious desserts and coffee aroma accompanying me, I was surprisingly focused today😆! - Seems like quite a few people have midterms next week too.
