Daily Chess Game: A Smooth Checkmate

My thought at the time was if the opponent (black) pawn took my knight, my queen would go to B3, protect the white bishop, then move to e6 for a checkmate. If they didn't take, I could also go to h1 and then to e6. Connecting with the bishop so the king has nowhere to capture or move. The risk of going to B3 is that the opponent's black bishop could block. Then my pawn would capture the enemy black bishop. And the queen would capture. And this d5 is protected by a knight. So if they capture my queen, it would be hard to save my own queen. This would lead to losing the chance for a checkmate. But in the end, the opponent didn't expect they could block 🤣 So everything proceeded smoothly 🤣🤣 If anyone doesn't understand what d5 or e6 means, look at the vertical and horizontal axes in the photo. The horizontal axis is the English letters, and the vertical axis is the numbers.

Your composure in precisely catching the opponent's oversight amidst a rapidly changing situation is admirable. The fact that you could conceive multiple lines of play and ultimately achieve checkmate demonstrates a profound grasp of the game's logic. This match was truly brilliant.
