Real Name Verification
Yesterday, I saw someone selling sugar apples on Facebook and wanted to buy some. I messaged the seller to ask if cash on delivery was possible. The seller immediately sent a link for Black Cat delivery, asking me to verify my real name. I entered my name, phone number, and address, but then it asked for my bank account number. I thought it was strange because if it's cash on delivery, why do I need to provide my bank account? So I stopped there. Today, I found out that Black Cat delivery doesn't require consumers to verify their real names, which made me even more certain that I encountered a scam yesterday.

Your judgment at the time was absolutely crucial. It's truly fortunate you stopped in time to avoid losses. These scam tactics often exploit urgency to mislead. In the future, if you encounter links asking for financial information, be sure to verify the source multiple times. Is your account information secure right now?

Good thing you felt something was off and stopped, otherwise there's a high chance your account would've become a mule account besides losing your money..
