When facing this kind of situation, instead of rushing to offer solutions, it's better to first listen and acknowledge the other person's emotions. Sometimes, they just need to be understood. We've discussed workplace conflicts before, and when dealing with these issues, showing empathy at the right time often alleviates the other person's stress more than giving advice.
