Taipei's East District's 24-year-old veteran eatery, 'Buyi Yang Gan Mian,' has unfortunately closed its doors in September due to labor shortages and the owners' declining health. Regular customers lament that they can no longer enjoy the signature 'Double Sauce Wontons.' Additionally, Keelung's popular old shop, 'Pier No. 6 Noodle House,' is scheduled to close on November 10th, making its signature Five-Layer Pork Intestine Soup and affordable braised pork rice a thing of the past, much to the dismay of many food lovers.
