A person was fishing by the river. They caught a lot of fish, but for every fish they caught, they measured it with a ruler. Any fish larger than the ruler was thrown back into the river. A bystander, puzzled, asked, "Everyone else wants to catch big fish, so why do you throw all the big ones back?" The person calmly replied, "Because my pot is only as wide as this ruler, and fish bigger than that won't fit." Commentary on the original text: Don't let endless desires consume your heart. "Enough is enough" is also a good attitude towards life. It can be a truly terrifying sight when people eat without restraint at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Taking only what you need and not being greedy is also an important practice.
