Taiwan's Famous Urban Legend - Kaohsiung Cando Park

Grandly opened in 1983, it once filled the Dakeng mountain area of Kaohsiung with countless laughs. After its abrupt closure in 1994, the steel tracks gradually rusted in the wind and rain, and the gale tore through the abandoned carousel, quietly ushering in the prelude to terrifying legends. What was most chilling was the daredevil adventure by the prank group CIRCUS back then. Four people broke into the ruins late at night and boldly rolled dice on the platform of the rumored broken roller coaster. Unexpectedly, as the losing member prepared to walk onto the rusted tracks for punishment, the surrounding air dropped sharply, and an inexplicable oppressive feeling filled the air. Afterward, everyone discovered in terror that the skull pattern on the clothes of the member punished that night perfectly matched the background of a ghostly photo taken at the scene, scaring them into stopping the recording and fleeing on the spot. Years later, the movie 'The Tag-Along 2' specifically returned to this ruin for filming to achieve a truly eerie atmosphere. During filming, strange phenomena occurred frequently. Not only did the crew's lighting equipment collectively and inexplicably lose power, but some staff members in the desolate old dormitory area faintly heard the laughter of a little girl coming from the amusement facilities that had long been powered off. This abandoned park, sealed for thirty years, intertwines the recklessness of youth with the phantom of the mountain spirit, remaining an indelible collective nightmare in the hearts of Taiwanese people to this day.
