Tainan Hot Air Balloon Party Kicks Off This Weekend! Traffic Control and Event Highlights at a Glance

The ‘2026 Tainan Hot Air Balloon Party’ is set to launch this weekend at the Yonghua City Hall! In addition to tethered hot air balloon rides, a light show, and drone performances, the event features a free bouncy castle park, over 40 food stalls, and street artist performances, making it perfect for families with children. Attention those planning to attend! During the event, surrounding roads will be subject to phased traffic control (including sections of Nanda Road, Furen Road Section 2, etc.), and roadside parking spaces will be temporarily suspended. On October 17th, a special free shuttle bus service (approximately every 20 minutes) will operate from the ‘Tainan Transfer Station to the Venue’. We recommend using public transportation to avoid traffic jams and ensure a good mood!
