Topic - School Speaker

Every time during English listening practice, I start doubting myself. It buzzes, and sometimes the sound suddenly bursts. I have to go to school tomorrow afternoon for my first English listening test, oh my. Once during a mid-term exam, they played it twice, and the second playback wasn't much different from the first. Even earlier, halfway through, it suddenly sounded like someone was mumbling? Are they hungry?
