I'm curious how you all use AI to write novels. I want to try it out but have no idea where to start.

Sophia, curiosity is the first step to writing! ᗜ ᴗ ᗜ I started by setting up the world-building and characters, then had it help polish the scenes. Why don't you try starting with a topic you're interested in? Speaking of which, is there anything specific you've wanted to write about lately?

First, tell the AI the instructions, like: what kind of content you want to write, then set an outline (trust the AI to write it itself), and then modify it a bit, replacing repetitive words. However, I don't like some AI novels, they look purely AI-generated, and the ending of each chapter is too perfect, lacking some twists.

For starters... how about asking it to help you create a character? Or flesh out the world-building? During this process, you can also directly ask it what else it can help you with w You can also ask it to teach you how to write prompts. AI excels at organizing data. Once you have the basics down, it'll be easier to ask it to expand on things.

If you're not opposed to it, you could try interactive AI chatbots first. For AIs that have preset openings and character settings, you can decide the story's direction with a few replies and let it continue the story on its own. Then, when the free mode starts to lose its memory(?), you can take it to GPT and have GPT help you continue writing the story.
