Pokémon Sleep

My phone's storage is low, I haven't really used it lately, and it's kind of sluggish, so I'm thinking of uninstalling Pokémon Sleep. Will my data still be saved if I uninstall it?

I've only been playing Pokémon Sleep for about a month, what should I focus on raising? I heard that 'careful selection' is good, but I don't know what to look for...

I managed to catch a Cleffa today. Psychic Pokémon are appearing more frequently this week, after all.
