I recently finished reading 'The Glass Tower Murder' and it left me with an indescribable sense of satisfaction. I haven't found a work that surpasses it yet. Do you have any recommendations?

I'll join. Nice to meet you all.

I'm joining this community. Nice to meet you all. Recently, I finished reading Ryo Asai's "In the Mega Charge." Before that, I read his "Seiyoku." As the title suggests, it was a story about human sexual desire. "Mega Charge" starts with the question of how to increase a male idol's sales. The writing is erudite and a bit difficult, but it's interesting.

It was super interesting. I liked how it told stories from the past, and then at the end, everything was flipped and I understood the conclusion. I wanted to reread it from the beginning after knowing the ending.

It's been a while since I wanted to read a piece of literature, so I borrowed "Sasameyuki" by Junichiro Tanizaki from the library✨️

I mostly borrow books from the library. Nice to meet you all! 🙏

Lately, I've been really into mystery novels. Nice to meet you all!! I used to be obsessed with light novels back in the day. I love romance novels. 🫶🏻︎

In middle school, it was Mr. Holmes (not a Sherlockian) Agatha Christie In high school, historical novels Now I'm totally hooked on light novels Nice to meet you all!

Nice to meet you all m(_ _)m I say I like reading, but I'm the type who can easily leave books unread and pile them up, though I have many I want to read 😣 I usually only read mystery novels, but I do get curious and read books that have become popular, or ones that were adapted into movies or dramas (whether I watch the live-action version or not is another story). However, I realized I've never read any works by the great classic authors, so I'm currently challenging myself with Natsume Soseki's "Kokoro" 💨 I just got to the part with the letter from the teacher and have been neglecting it for about a week though…😂

To briefly introduce the plot, it's a story about guiding a woman with three disabilities – 'cannot see, cannot hear, cannot speak' – from a collapsed and flooded underground city, where rescue teams cannot infiltrate, to a shelter within a time limit using a drone. At the very end, all the foreshadowing, inconsistencies, and doubts from the middle were resolved. This is the type of novel that's incredibly fun to read multiple times. After knowing the ending, I went back to where 'that' happened, and it made sense why certain actions and descriptions were made. It's difficult to convey my thoughts without spoilers since it's a mystery novel, but in a word, even the sub-missions had proper meaning. The depiction of human suspicion was also well done. It was an interesting novel where countless dots connected into lines at the climax.
