"Survival" It's a very old manga. But I want you to read it in the face of today's natural disasters. This is the story of Satoru, a 14-year-old boy whose civilization collapses due to a massive earthquake and who gets separated from his family, surviving by squeezing out his wisdom and life force in an extreme environment. It vividly depicts the knowledge needed in a world where all living infrastructure has disappeared, such as how to make fire, filter drinking water, hunt using traps, and build shelters. It's an older work, but I've always been impressed by "Medaka Box" that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, and I joined because I wanted to talk about it! The father of the protagonist in "Medaka Box" is also intense and hilarious, and it was funny how the protagonist responded normally like, "So you were the mother today?" (Sorry if I don't remember the exact wording). Of course, the protagonist Medaka's mother was also an abnormally amazing person (). Actually, is Medaka the protagonist of this series? Uncommon for isekai reincarnation/transfer works, the biggest appeal is that the protagonists fight using humanoid giant mechs (robots) called "Mado Gears." The setting where they use their internal power, "Rudia," as energy to operate the machines, the weighty mech designs, and the battle developments filled with beams and close-combat weapons might resonate with robot anime fans, especially those who like the "Dunbine" series. The artwork by manga artist Cambria Bakuhatsu Taro is of extremely high quality. The manga beautifully depicts battles with speed and impact, such as the weighty metallic feel of the Mado Gears, dynamic actions, and scenes of special moves exploding in large panels. The paneling is also easy to read, allowing the action to flow smoothly into your mind, drawing you into the story without stress.
