I'm happy that there are more posts besides friend requests. I wish everyone would share more nostalgic stories and relatable things about their age...

I'm posting this because a comment on someone else's thread earlier brought back memories. In the Famicom version of Dragon Quest 2, there was a password commonly known to be for debugging purposes (that's what I heard). Debugging is test playing to find program flaws before the software is released. Since it's for test play, the protagonist starts the game at max level and with more money than they could ever spend, so the early game progresses incredibly smoothly. However, the name is fixed as 'Moyomoto' (lol). But, back when I was an elementary school student, I gave up on the game partway through, even with this password ^^; Back then, strategy guides weren't common, and it was just too much of an impossible game for a kid with limited information to collect all those crests. I think I found the first three using the 'Mountain Echo Flute Roller' strategy (who would ever find it lying around the outer perimeter of the Traveling Shrine?). Even if I had found all the crests, I probably would have gotten stuck in the Cave to the Rhondar or on Rhondar itself. Sorry for the long post (^^) I never beat it, but it was probably the Famicom game I played the most~

I know it's the result of the draw, so it can't be helped, but the first game is Sendai Ikuei vs. Sapporo Nichidai, and today it's Higashichiku vs. Kamimura Gakuen. Isn't it a bit too much for nearby regions to be matched up right from the first game... My personal way of enjoying high school baseball is to first cheer for my local high school or schools from areas I have connections to, and then for schools in neighboring prefectures or the same region. I cheer for all the high school players giving their all, but I understand that as prefectural representatives, there's a priority order for cheering. I've written a lot, but I just wish that for the first game at least, schools from more distant regions would be matched up. That's how I feel these days. Sorry for the long and rambling post.

It's typically a winter delicacy, but you can find it in supermarkets year-round these days. It might not compare to the authentic stuff served at restaurants during its peak season, but even the cheap stuff pairs perfectly with sake. It has a strong flavor, so I know many people dislike it. It's amazing how the fishiness turns into deliciousness when paired with sake!

Ate potato chips for the first time in a while and my stomach feels really heavy the next day... It feels like just yesterday it was New Year's, and now it's already August. I feel like my reaction and adaptation speed in games have slowed down too. I'm keenly feeling that I'm not young anymore, but I still want to continue my otaku activities, so I'll enjoy them with the feeling that the 'Internet Old Folks Club' is the best! 🫡🔥

膝に水が溜まっていた訳でもなく、変形性膝関節症だと診断されましたが… 全然膝が曲がらない＿|￣|○ おまけに痛み止めを打たれたのに、効いてない。 年なのか。 いや、年だろう。 もう満身創痍です。 オチ？ そんなものはありません。 健康第一だよ！

割と若い時から自由業やってたので、勤務先で健康診断受けてたのが二十代半ばまでで、40過ぎてから約二十年振りに市の健康診断を受診しました。そしたらびっくりしたのが肝臓の数値wガンマGTPが130超えてて（正常値50以下）自分でドン引きしましたね。仕事でもプライベートでも酒飲む機会が多かったからですかね(^_^;) それが2年前の話でして、それまでほぼ365日晩酌やってたんですが、2年前から休肝日を設けました。週に2日取るとより効果的と言う事で、毎週水曜日木曜日が休肝日。 で、今年の健康診断行ってきましたら、見事に正常値範囲に戻っておりました＼(^O^)／ﾊﾞﾝｻﾞｲ 最近は酒飲まない人も多いらしいので、そもそも週7で酒飲む人が少数派だとは思いますが、皆さん、休肝日は設けたほうが良いです^^;まだ二十代だって人も、早いうちから始めた方が絶対に良いです。以上、40超えた呑んべぇのオジサンからお送りしました！
