However, along with the astonishing visual and auditory effects, the depiction of Dr. Ryan Stone's (Sandra Bullock) 'will to live' as she overcomes despair and rises again within a simple narrative leaves an overwhelming impression. As a side note, when the production costs increased, Warner Bros. executives made unreasonable demands such as adding a kissing scene or missile attacks like a blockbuster, which director Alfonso Cuarón flatly refused, leading to the creation of the film as it is today.

This is a historical fiction drama that begins when 'Gwanghae', the King of Joseon, who was suffering from assassination threats, finds a substitute to risk his life for him, and summons 'Haseon', a jester from the marketplace who looks exactly like him, to the palace. Haseon, the jester who becomes the king's substitute, gradually begins to move the hearts of those around him by practicing politics for the people in his own way amidst the deadly political struggles within the palace. The perfect harmony of actor Lee Byung-hun's chilling dual role performance, profound emotion, and occasional bursts of delightful laughter leaves a deep impression on the question of what true leadership is. It is a masterpiece of Korean historical cinema that I strongly recommend.

This is my favorite musical movie. I love the songs in it so much that I've almost memorized them all haha. There's the song 'Move' from the beginning of the movie, and 'Listen', 'Dreamgirls', etc. There are many great songs. I highly recommend this movie. It's one of my life movies. This film removes the cliché melodrama of existing disaster movies and delivers thrilling speed and excitement that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It's recommended as a clean and fun disaster movie that offers refreshing laughter and tension, like a 'chilsung-saida' (a popular Korean soda) amidst frustrating reality.

Frank (Leonardo DiCaprio), who runs away from home due to the shock of his parents' divorce, uses his genius intellect to create counterfeit checks to make a living. With daring disguises and smooth-talking lies, he perfectly impersonates a Pan Am co-pilot, a pediatric surgeon at a general hospital, and a promising lawyer, taunting the FBI as he travels the globe. Hot on his trail is the tenacious veteran FBI agent Carl Hanratty (Tom Hanks). The story unfolds as a breathtaking cat-and-mouse chase between these two men. The twist(?) of this movie is that it's actually based on a true story. Director Spielberg was inspired to make the film after reading a book by the real-life protagonist. However, the biggest twist is that it was later revealed that most of the content in the book was fabricated.

This is the 2018 movie [The Beast] starring Kim Yun-seok and Ju Ji-hoon. 'Amsu Sarin' (literally 'hidden murder') refers to a murder case where there is a victim but no report, body, or investigation, thus remaining unknown to the world. The movie is based on the Lee Doo-hong case, which was actually broadcast on the investigative journalism program 'Unanswered Questions' (there was an incident where the victim's family protested and filed an injunction against the screening, which was eventually resolved after the production company apologized). Instead of the typical progression of a murder case leading to the pursuit and arrest of the perpetrator, this unique film begins when Kang Tae-oh (Ju Ji-hoon), already imprisoned for other crimes, confesses to Detective Kim Hyung-min (Kim Yun-seok) that he has killed seven people. The main plot follows Detective Kim Hyung-min as he tries to uncover the truth amidst Kang Tae-oh's confession, desperately attempting to bring closure to the victims of cases no one else cares about. You could say it's a work that aimed to showcase a fierce battle of wits and respect for the victims, excluding sensational action and melodrama.

It's just about right for killing time. If you click with Director Jang Jin's comedy, it's great. But if not, it's a polarizing movie that can become tedious. It's somewhat predictable, but there's still enjoyment in watching it even when you know what's coming. The supporting cast is also diverse. It's the kind of movie you can just put on when stuck in traffic during Chuseok, and you can enjoy it just by listening to the dialogue without watching the screen.

The father's paternal love in protecting his daughter, along with the selfishness and sacrifice shown by various human archetypes, combine to deliver a profound emotional impact. With its speedy development and immersive quality that keeps you glued to the screen for a single moment, it's a masterpiece that opens a new chapter for K-disaster films. We highly recommend it to those who want to feel a warm resonance amidst overwhelming tension.

I watched it with my parents and was so impressed that I watched it again by myself. Zhang Ziyi was so beautiful, and the action overall was really cool. The movie "Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds" (2017), which set a box office record by surpassing 14 million cumulative viewers, is a fantasy film depicting the journey of firefighter Ja-hong, who is judged in seven hells over 49 days after death, and the grim reapers who defend him. Thanks to the unique CG effects, the hellscapes in the movie all look like computer graphics, but in reality, most of the hells were directly created and filmed using elaborate, massive physical sets. The actors spent nearly 11 months virtually living on the set, an enclosed indoor space filled with dirt and dust, to perform their roles. As a result, after filming concluded, lead actor Ha Jung-woo was found to have a surprising 'Vitamin D deficiency' in his health check-up, indicating the extreme hardship of shooting entirely indoors. Behind the overwhelming immersion, the actors endured extraordinary difficulties.
