Since it was recently Chuseok, I've been wondering if religion is actually helpful. My whole family is religious, so I figured there must be a reason people believe, but I personally felt more powerless when I tried believing. I was once deeply inspired by humanism. The idea that people possess potential in themselves... that gave me a lot of hope. But some people say that's human arrogance. They say humans can't do anything, only God can, so you should believe in God... How can one find hope in such a mindset? I'm not asking whether to believe or not, but I'm curious about the mechanism by which people find hope in theocentric thought.

It's a cliché topic, right? Is human dignity an absolute value given from birth, or does it vary based on actions or abilities?

But was the world really 'created'? Isn't it something that has always existed? Does absolute 'nothingness' even exist in the first place? If 'nothingness' 'exists', can we call it 'nothingness'? You can't call something that exists 'nothing', right? So, the conclusion is that absolute 'nothingness' doesn't exist, and the world has always been 'something'. (Just my thoughts, I don't know if it's the truth) Just some deep random thoughts I had. lol

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? I think the "first" reference point is the most important. Depending on that standard, the order of each changes.

What is love? What does it feel like to like someone? What is a crush?

No matter how much I think about it, philosophy seems to remain a mystery.

As time goes by, I feel like I'm becoming a bit obsessed with falling in love. Will I never be able to fall in love in my lifetime? I have no idea who my true love will be! ㅠㅠ

We usually think of lying as a bad thing, right? Is it wrong to lie to make someone else happy? This is a common topic lol. Is a "white lie" acceptable? What do you think? Is it okay to hide the truth for the sake of someone else's happiness or your own, or should you always tell the truth, no matter how good your intentions are? If you 'knew for sure' that lying would bring happiness and telling the truth would bring unhappiness, would you still tell the truth?

If fear responses and the urge to reproduce are also for survival, then what is the reason for surviving? If the end is predetermined by death, what purpose should we live with?

Some AI developers are resigning, saying that humans will soon lose control over AI, and there's a possibility it could lead to the extinction of humanity in the future. I'm curious to hear everyone's thoughts on this.
