Mounjaro...

By injecting a hormone that suppresses appetite... Mounjaro, which makes you lose weight by eating less... It's nice that I'm losing weight, but if I rely on external sources for hormone production, I'm worried my body might deteriorate more if I stop the injections. If you have severe obesity, it might be worth considering for improving eating habits, but for other cases, I think it's something to ponder. I don't think hormones are something to mess with lightly...

I heard there are side effects, but seeing so many celebrities and YouTubers claiming to have seen results makes ordinary people really tempted.

Moving your body is the most rational thing to do... it's just hard... Getting a little help is fine, but I don't want to rely on it.

I'd still like to try it even if it's expensive.. now. They say a patch type is coming out soon. It's currently in clinical trials.

Are we the opposite? (I was underweight in elementary school and am normal weight now in 7th grade)

Since it's about losing weight through hormone regulation, as soon as you stop taking Mounjaro, your appetite returns and you immediately regain the weight. That's why they say you have to use it for life if you want to keep taking it.

It's best to manage your diet well without relying on medication.

Still, some people manage it fine. My friend's younger sibling lost 25kg and is maintaining it well haha

It's an era where you can easily lose weight without strenuous exercise if you have money.

I've heard that things like Mounjaro and Wegovy aren't good in the long run...

If I can't control my diet after stopping, I'm worried about severe yo-yoing, but maybe it'll be okay?

More people than I thought are doing it around me.. If you work out hard, the effects are even greater, so I think a lot of younger people are doing it.

It might be necessary for people who genuinely can't control themselves and are over 100kg with a BMI over 36. But the scary part isn't just that it stops working if you lose weight and it doesn't fit anymore, it's the rebound effect (yo-yo dieting).

If you're severely obese, it might be okay... otherwise, since it messes with hormones, it could be lifelong...

It's better to exercise and improve your diet first. Taking Mounjaro or Wegovy is useless if you keep eating unhealthy food and don't exercise.
