Dog Travels 4500km to Get Home 🐕
In 1923, a family in Oregon, USA, was on a road trip across America with their beloved dog, Bobbie. While in Indiana, Bobbie got chased by other dogs and went missing. The owner searched for a week and posted missing dog ads, but there was no news, so they sadly drove back home all the way on the West Coast. About half a year later— Bobbie showed up at their doorstep on its own 🐕 It wasn't lost in a neighboring city; it traveled all the way back to Oregon from the Midwest! When Bobbie returned, it was thin and dirty, with severely worn paws. After the story broke, many people's first reaction was probably: "A dog walking thousands of kilometers home? Is that for real?" So, the Oregon Humane Society (an animal welfare organization in Oregon) launched an investigation. They collected testimonies from people along the route who had seen, fed, or sheltered Bobbie. The investigation concluded that the journey was indeed real, estimating the distance traveled to be about 4500 kilometers! Bobbie instantly became an all-American star. It received a medal, a jeweled collar, and its own doghouse, and even starred in a movie—playing itself 🤣 Owner: Drove across America 🚗 Bobbie: Okay, I'll walk back 🐕💨 If I were hearing this story for the first time now, I'd probably suspect it was AI-generated first 😆

Observer Series - What the Official Community Didn't Tell You... About Likes
The official announcement stated that 'likes' and view counts are not used as a basis for revenue sharing, but is that really the case? Since view counts are uncontrollable, I decided to test the 'likes' aspect. I liked about 200 posts daily for a month. During this observation period, the daily revenue share was between 3000-4000. I didn't perform any other actions besides liking (commenting or posting). So, does liking posts result in revenue sharing? The answer is yes. You earn about 15-20 diamonds per like. And this seems to be a baseline value, not significantly affected by the total amount. Is there a cap on earning revenue through likes? I haven't tested this yet, as continuously liking posts is quite boring. I welcome other experts to test and share their findings. --------------------------------- This is provided for reference. Official policies and figures are constantly being adjusted. Other observations will be reported in future installments. Feel free to add your observations or discuss your viewpoints.

Why Cats Shouldn't Drink Fresh Milk
Why is fresh milk not suitable for cats? Kittens have a large amount of lactase, an enzyme that digests lactose in mother's milk, during their nursing period. However, after weaning and transitioning to solid food, the activity of lactase in cats significantly decreases. At this point, if they drink fresh milk (including cow's milk and goat's milk) with high lactose content, their intestines cannot effectively break down the lactose, which can easily lead to fermentation in the intestines, causing diarrhea, vomiting, bloating, or abdominal pain. Correct concepts about cats drinking milk Adult cats do not need to drink milk: Healthy adult cats only need to consume enough clean drinking water and balanced cat food; milk is not an essential nutrient. Kittens need special milk: Kittens that have not yet been weaned should never be fed commercially available fresh milk. Instead, use specially formulated milk replacer powder for puppies and kittens (e.g., Petlac, KMR, etc.). Alternative options if you want to give your cat milk: You can choose lactose-free milk for pets or goat milk powder for cats sold in pet supply stores as an occasional treat. Even lactose-free cat milk is not low in calories and fat. Giving too much can easily lead to obesity or affect their appetite for main meals. It is recommended to give it in small amounts occasionally.

Lion bought from a department store remembers its owner after being released into the wild 🦁
In 1969, two young Australians spotted a lion cub in the pet department of Harrods in London. It sounds absurd now, but Harrods actually used to sell exotic animals back then. And so they… bought the lion🤣 The cub was named Christian and lived with them in the furniture store where they worked, even playing and chasing balls in the courtyard of a nearby church graveyard. But a cub eventually grows into a big lion. As Christian got bigger, the two men realized: 'This really isn't a suitable roommate for London.' Through the connection of an actor from 'Born Free' (a movie based on the true story of a lion named Elsa), Christian was sent to Kenya. With the help of conservationist George Adamson, he gradually adapted to life in the wild. About a year later, the two men traveled to Kenya to visit him. They weren't sure if Christian would remember them, but as soon as he recognized them, he ran over, stood up, hugged them with his front paws, and kept rubbing and licking their faces🥹 There's even documentary footage from the time of this reunion! What's even more interesting is that when they met again the following year, Christian still recognized them, even though he was now a 200+ kg giant lion🤣 The lion cub bought from a department store eventually returned to Africa to become a wild lion. This story isn't about 'humans successfully domesticating a lion,' but rather about 'successfully helping a lion become a lion again' 🦁

How should I deal with this?
I found this on my balcony at home. There's no man in the house, so I'm too scared to touch it.

Can't bring pets on the ship? Then let's enlist the bear! 🐻🪖
During World War II, Polish soldiers in the Middle East adopted a Syrian brown bear cub that had lost its mother and named it Wojtek. Wojtek lived with the unit since it was young, wrestling and playing with the soldiers, even sleeping in tents with them, becoming a true member of the unit. Later, when the unit was preparing to board a ship to Italy, a problem arose: Pets were not allowed on board. So, the soldiers came up with a very straightforward solution – Then it's not a pet, let's officially enlist it! 💪 Wojtek was indeed registered as a soldier in the 22nd Artillery Supply Company and was later promoted to corporal 🐻 During the Battle of Monte Cassino in 1944, the unit was responsible for transporting ammunition to the front lines. According to records, Wojtek saw the others carrying supplies and followed suit, helping to move heavy ammunition crates. The unit even later designed its insignia based on "a bear carrying an artillery shell." After the war, Wojtek moved to Scotland with his comrades. After being discharged, he lived at the Edinburgh Zoo until his death in 1963. Orphaned cub → Unit mascot → Official enlistment → Carrying ammo → Promoted to corporal → Became unit insignia. Isn't this bear's resume more impressive than many people's? 🐻🪖

A Marvelous Planet
Imagine if Earth's water volume was compared to 'a thin layer of dew on a blueberry.' Then this exoplanet, HD 176071 b, recently pinpointed by NASA, is practically a 'super dumpling' submerged in a water tank! What's so special about this 'high-pressure steam ball'? 1. Outrageously Watery While Earth appears to be covered in oceans, its water accounts for only about 0.02% of its total mass. However, this 'super-Earth,' 8.5 times Earth's mass, is a whopping 50% water! The entire planet is basically a deep, unfathomable cosmic water ball with no land. 2. A Cosmic 'Speedy Hot Pot' This planet orbits its sun at an absurdly close distance, completing one revolution (its year) in just 14 hours! Being this close, it's not a cool vacation spot but a 'tropical sauna' that's boiling hot, shrouded in high-pressure steam and extreme heatwaves. 3. A Rule-Breaking 'Hardcore Player' According to old cosmic rules, a planet this close to its sun should have long since evaporated into bare scrap metal. Yet, thanks to its extremely dense clouds and violent atmosphere, it has managed to 'lock in' all its water. How was it detected? It's quite mischievous and doesn't pass directly in front of its host star (leaving no traditional shadow). Astronomers intensely stared at the faint light it reflected through telescopes, like catching a 'mirror,' and managed to snag this cosmic super water droplet!
