The Cloud-Veiled Station (1)

First Part: The Vanishing Passengers The space inside the train carriage was far more spacious than it appeared from the outside, illuminated by a few dim, flickering yellowish-brown lights, eerily empty. Besides Su Yue, only a few figures sat in the front row near the window. They all had their heads bowed, dressed in extremely old-fashioned attire – some like the long gowns of the early Republic of China era, others like old-fashioned work clothes from decades past. All sat motionless in their seats. Su Yue chose a seat near the door, attempting to look out the window. However, beyond the glass was only a dead, silent darkness, devoid of even the shadow of a tree or distant lights. The glass reflected only his own pale, bloodless face. Suppressing his unease, he turned to a middle-aged man in the adjacent seat, intending to ask about the train's final destination and journey time. As he leaned closer, however, he was startled to find the man's face appearing extremely stiff and bizarre in the dim light – it wasn't the skin of a living person at all, but like that of a paper effigy, painted with exaggerated, eerie rosy blush. His lips were purplish-black, forming a stiff, dead smile. Though the man's eyes were open, his pupils were cloudy and vacant, staring straight ahead without any sign of breathing. The Clouded Train Station (Prologue)

The night was as heavy and dark as a thick cloth soaked in ink, pressing down on the platform, making it hard to breathe. Su Yue stood within the yellow line, staring at the digital clock on his phone screen displaying '23:59'. The last express train back to the city had departed an hour ago. This old station, located in the suburbs, was usually deserted, and now it was completely empty. A dense fog, carrying the damp, earthy smell of soil, silently surged from the end of the tracks, casting a mottled, yellowish glow on the dim platform lights. Suddenly, the broadcast system crackled with harsh metallic noise, followed by a disjointed, monotone mechanical female voice: "Next train... the Nameless Train... arriving shortly." Su Yue frowned. He had traveled this railway line countless times and had never seen this particular train on the timetable. Seconds later, a steam train, as black as ink with tightly shut windows, sliced through the mist and stopped silently before him. The train had no markings, not even the sound of wheels on the rails; it was as quiet as a leviathan sleeping in the deep sea. The door opened with a dull click, and a cold wind, carrying the scent of dead leaves and rotten blood, rushed out. Su Yue shivered. He instinctively wanted to step back, but then he remembered the threats of his creditors at home and the misery of sleeping on the streets. Gritting his teeth, he stepped into the carriage. Japanese 2ch Creepypasta|Binoculars🔭

This is a short creepypasta that appeared on the Japanese 2ch forum '洒落怖' (Sharekofu - Scary Stories) back in 2004. (The original '双眼鏡' just means binoculars~) The poster had a peculiar hobby: climbing onto his rooftop late at night and observing the quiet city through his binoculars. One night, as he was looking at the distant streets like usual, he suddenly noticed something running down the top of a long slope at an incredible speed. He looked closer with his binoculars— It was a naked, emaciated, childlike humanoid figure. As it sprinted towards his house, it had a wide smile on its face and was... Waving at him. The poster suddenly realized that the thing knew he was watching it. Terrified, he immediately rushed down from the roof and locked the door. Not long after, he heard the sound of rapid footsteps on the rooftop stairs. It had arrived. The entity seemed to search the roof for a while, then ran downstairs and began frantically banging on the door and ringing the doorbell, accompanied by eerie moaning sounds from outside. The poster could only grip an iron and tremble inside the house. After a few tens of seconds, everything suddenly went quiet. He endured it like that until dawn. All that was left was one question— 'What on earth was that thing?'

Long Horror Story (10) Finale

Chapter 10: The Cyclic End Giant stones rained down, smashing the altar and breaking the mysterious power controlling Lin Mo. He climbed upwards amidst the flying dust, finally escaping the old mansion and collapsing, severely injured, by the roadside outside town. A few days later, Lin Mo woke up in the hospital and incoherently recounted his experience in the mansion to the police. The police looked at him with strange eyes after hearing his story and handed him a yellowed old file: "That house burned down thirty years ago. The child who died in the fire, according to the file... was named Lin Mo, and looked exactly like you." Lin Mo trembled as he took the photo, his throat suddenly unable to make any sound. The sunlight in the hospital room instantly extinguished, and in the mirror on the wall, the woman in the red dress behind him slowly reached out her hand... End of series.

Long Horror Story (9)

Chapter Nine: The Final Sacrifice Lin Mo stared at the empty space on the portrait that belonged to him, his mind a complete blank as fragments of memory flooded his mind like a tidal wave. He recalled forgotten moments from his childhood: strange rituals in the dead of night, his parents' low murmurs, and the overwhelming crimson that covered everything that night. He wasn't an accidental reporter at all. He had been sent away since he was young, only to return here tonight, on this full moon stormy night, as the final 'lock' to complete the cycle. His father slowly rose from the coffin and walked towards an altar at the edge of the basement. On the altar lay a black dagger gleaming with a cold light. "Come here, child. Fulfill your mission and grant eternal peace to the souls of the Lin family." His father's voice held an irresistible magic, and Lin Mo felt his body begin to move uncontrollably forward, his legs as if not his own, stepping towards the altar. He roared inwardly in refusal, but his nervous system was completely taken over by some invisible force. He watched as he took the black dagger from his father and pointed the tip towards his own chest. His father's face showed a relieved yet cruel smile, and the green flames of the surrounding oil lamps burned even more intensely. Lin Mo used his last shred of reason to fight against this external force. His hand trembled violently, the tip of the dagger had already pierced his skin, and blood flowed down his chest. At this critical moment, a violent cracking sound suddenly came from above the basement, and the entire ceiling began to collapse…… To be continued

Childhood Experience

The second story about that house I mentioned last time. Last time I talked about how my friend and I were playing ball and a door that was open suddenly closed. A while after that, My neighbor friend suddenly said he wanted to go explore inside. So, the two of us plus another friend went inside to explore. It was a two-story house. Since no one had lived there or cleaned it for years, It was like a ruin inside. There was trash all over the floor and crumbling debris on the walls. At that time, my neighbor suggested we check out the second floor. He went first, and my other two friends and I followed behind. It was a hot summer, But I always felt it was particularly cool inside. Then, the neighbor walked into what seemed like a room. As I was halfway up the stairs, I suddenly heard him scream and run down quickly. My other friend and I, completely confused, also ran down in a hurry. Later, he described that as soon as he entered, he saw a long-haired, faceless woman in a white dress floating into the next room. He said 'floating' because her clothes were long, he couldn't see her feet, and she was a short distance off the ground. She floated right past him. Since my other friend and I didn't see it, we weren't sure if he was lying. But the next day, that friend got a fever and didn't recover for two or three days. Maybe he really did see something. After that, we never dared to go near that place carelessly again.

Japanese 2ch Creepypasta | Kyojuto O 👤

"Kyojuto O" is an internet creepypasta that appeared on Japan's 2ch "Sarefuru" forum in 2006. The poster said that a few years prior, during a solo trip, he stayed one night in a small village and was deeply impressed by the locals' warmth. Years later, he suddenly felt like revisiting the place and drove there during a long holiday. He was sure he hadn't taken a wrong turn, but as he neared the village, the road sign that should have indicated the village name and distance only had three strange characters: "Kyojuto O" Continuing forward with an ominous feeling, he found the village of his memory abandoned, with weeds overgrown around the houses. Just as he was about to get out of the car to investigate, something appeared in the grass about 20 meters away. It had an abnormally large head and was barely recognizable as humanoid. Then, he realized there were more of them around. With their hands held tightly at their sides, they approached his car, shaking their massive heads from side to side. He immediately reversed and fled. After returning home and checking the map again— It was indeed the same village from years ago. He never went back. What does the "O" in "Kyojuto O" mean? The original "巨頭" (Kyojuto) used kanji, but it was followed by the katakana "オ (o)". It has no clear meaning in this context and remains one of the long-standing mysteries of this creepypasta. Some speculate that the sign originally read "Kyojuto Village," but parts of the character for "village" fell off, making it look like "オ." Others believe it was a worn-out directional arrow ↗. If it's the latter, the sign was simply telling you: "Kyojuto is in that direction. →" 👤

Long Horror Story (8)

Chapter 8: The Curse of the Bloodline Green flames flickered on the stone walls, twisting Lin Mo's elongated shadow into grotesque shapes. The coffin lid scraped with a teeth-grinding sound, finally slamming heavily onto the ground with a 'bang,' kicking up dust. Lin Mo gripped his flashlight tightly as a weapon, his body on full alert as he stared at the coffin. A figure in a long black robe slowly sat up from within the coffin. The person's hair was extremely long, covering their entire face, but when they lifted their head, Lin Mo was utterly shocked—it was none other than his father, who had been missing for many years. His father's face was extremely pale, his eyes pupil-less, only a dead, murky white. "Xiao Mo, you've finally come…" His father's voice was hoarse and hollow, like two stones grinding against each other. Lin Mo trembled and asked, "What is this place? Why are you here? What happened thirty years ago?" His father let out a low, eerie laugh. "Thirty years ago? The Lin family never disappeared; we've always been here. This mansion is a seal that needs the blood of the Lin family's direct descendants to be maintained. Did you think you decided to come here and investigate yourself? No, this mansion called to you. Our destiny flows in your blood." Having said that, his father extended his withered, eagle-claw-like hands and pointed to a huge family portrait on the basement wall. Lin Mo followed his gaze. Every Lin family member in the portrait had a hole in their chest, and the outermost human-shaped void matched his own size and shape perfectly. To be continued in the next chapter……

Long Horror Story (7)

Chapter Seven: The Call from Beneath the Soil The grip of the hand was terrifyingly strong, its nails digging deep into Lin Mo's wrist, causing waves of sharp pain. Lin Mo struggled frantically, kicking at the dirt where the hand emerged with his other foot, but the ground beneath began to shake violently. Then, a second, a third, cold hands emerged from the soil, tightly gripping his ankles and clothes, dragging him forcefully underground. Lin Mo let out a desperate howl, his hands scrabbling wildly in the mud, finally grasping the flashlight that had fallen nearby. He used the flashlight to smash violently at the hand holding his wrist. With a crisp sound of bone breaking, the hand finally let go. Seizing the opportunity, Lin Mo yanked hard, pulling his feet free from the dirt, and stumbled towards the small back door of the old house. The back door was ajar; he kicked it open and rushed inside, then slammed it shut and bolted it with a wooden bar. Darkness returned to the house. Lin Mo collapsed on the floor, gasping for breath. The beam of his flashlight swept around, and he realized he had entered a basement he had never seen on the old house's map. The air in the basement was extremely dry, a stark contrast to the downpour outside. Oil lamps hung on the surrounding walls, and the moment he stepped into the room, they began to light up one by one, their eerie green flames illuminating the entire basement in a sickly verdant light. In the center of the basement stood a coffin, and its lid was slowly being pushed open from the inside... To be continued...

Personal Experience

Sharing a very short story. Not sure if my personal experience fits the rules. This is a story from when I was about first or second grade in elementary school. We had a very dilapidated house back then. One day, my neighbor friend and I were playing ball. The door to that house was open that day. You could see the mess inside. But as we were playing, the ball accidentally rolled in front of the door. Then I noticed the door had closed and was tied shut with wire. If no one was there, it's impossible to tie the door shut from the outside with wire. My friend and I were so scared that we didn't dare play in front of it for a while. Now, that house has been rebuilt and residents have moved in.
