Even Gorillas Can't Resist the Charm of Kittens? 🦍🐱
Did you know there was once a gorilla who actually raised a cat? 😆 There was a very famous Western lowland gorilla in the US named 'Koko', who was trained by researchers from a young age to communicate using sign language. Koko once expressed that she wanted a cat. Initially, the researchers gave her a toy cat – but Koko was completely unimpressed 🤣 She not only refused to play with the toy cat, but she also angrily banged on the wall and threw the toy cat away. When asked to bring the cat over, she even handed over a toy dinosaur instead 🦖 She didn't just want a cat toy; she genuinely wanted to raise a cat 🤣 Later, the researchers actually brought a litter of kittens for her to choose from. Koko picked out a small gray kitten and named it 'All Ball'. She truly cherished it, cuddling and petting it, and interacting with it very gently. Sadly, All Ball later passed away in an accident. Upon hearing the news, Koko showed clear signs of grief and made gestures like 'sleep, cat', leading the research team to believe she had some understanding of 'death'. And All Ball wasn't the only cat Koko interacted with. In the following years, she continued to care for and spend time with other kittens, and remained very fond of cats even in her later years 🐱💕 While there's still debate about how much human language Koko truly understood — The fact that a gorilla once seriously raised a cat is just super cool 🤣 It seems the charm of kittens truly transcends species 🐱💕

Cats are really popular, and the gorilla is very patient too.
