See-Saw - Though We Were So Close

Performer: See-Saw Song Title: Though We Were So Close Lyrics/Composition: Tomoaki Ishikawa / Yuki Kajiura Release Date: October 23, 2002 Album: Dream Field Recommended Listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSHDkaThFm0&t=76s This is the first ED for the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" (機動戦士ガンダム SEED). Back then, because the spaceport in Kaohsiung was bombed in the very first episode, and with ED2 "Moment" sung by Vivian Hsu, a Taiwanese who was active in Japan, Gundam SEED was quite popular in Taiwan. Although I watched it later, this can be considered my first "Kajiura-style" song. You can see that many operatic Kajiura-language phrases were already being used back then. I specifically chose this nostalgic MV, so let's look back at the youthful pair while marveling at the transcendent musical impact of that era. 📻🎶
