Talking about the anime 'The Cat and the Dragon' 🐱🐲

The original work is a novel, and there's also a manga version. The first season of the anime adaptation has 12 episodes (finished watching today😆), and a second season has already been announced, scheduled for release in 2027! The story revolves around a dragon raised by cats. Referred to as 'Uncle Wings' by the cats in the forest, the cat-dragon looks after generations of cats, gradually intertwining their stories with those of humans. At first, I found the plot quite plain, mainly continuing to watch because of the cats🤣 However, as more cats and humans appeared, the seemingly independent small stories began to connect with each other, giving me that 'Ah! So this character is related to that one too' feeling, and it became more and more interesting. Of course, the biggest plus is—the cats are so healing😆 I especially like how the cats in this work are drawn with body types and movements very close to real cats, not overly chibi-fied. Just watching them run around is adorable 🥰 The cat-dragon is also endearing. Despite being a giant dragon, its personality is like a fussy, nagging old mother who dotes on the cats immensely🤣 And with Koyasu Takehito voicing it, it's rare to hear him use such a gentle voice while taking care of the kitties. If you like cats, healing slice-of-life, and ensemble stories where characters connect, it's great for a relaxed watch～
