Info Share | Animated Film 'To You, Who Are Far Away' to Premiere in Taiwan on October 30th 🎹🌊

Based on the novel "Dokobeyori mo Tooi Basho ni Iru Kimi e" by Akiko Abe, the animated film will be released in Japan on October 9, 2026, and in Taiwan on October 30th. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the young boy Kazuki Tsukise leaves the city to attend high school on the remote island of "Saiki Island," rich in nature. One early summer, he discovers a collapsed girl named Nanao Akika at a mysterious location on the island known as the "Bay Where Gods Hide." Nanao has nothing to prove her identity, and the truth she speaks is even more unbelievable: "I'm from 1974." The two, meeting across nearly half a century, gradually grow closer on the island. As they spend time together, Kazuki's hidden past, the reason Nanao came to this era, and the secret of the "Bay Where Gods Hide" will slowly be unveiled. Looking at the visuals alone, I thought it was just a simple youth romance film, but it turns out to have time travel + a mystery of disappearance. It seems quite interesting! 😆
