Talking about the anime "My Home Hero" 🏠👨👧

The original work is a manga by Naoki Yamakawa (story) and Katsuhiro Asaki (art), which has concluded with 26 volumes. Besides the 12-episode TV anime that aired in 2023, it has also been adapted into a live-action drama and movie, so there are quite a few different forms of adaptation. However, I've only watched the anime. The protagonist, Tetsuo Tosu, is an ordinary office worker who dotes on his daughter. One day, he notices bruises on his reclusive daughter Reika's face, suspecting her boyfriend is involved. To protect his daughter, Tetsuo begins a secret investigation, which embroils him in a series of unimaginable events, gradually pulling his once ordinary family into danger. The production quality of this anime didn't particularly wow me, and my overall impression after watching it was rather average. However, the plot was quite successful in creating suspense! Especially in the early stages, watching Tetsuo scramble to deal with the escalating crises often made me nervous 🤣 Even though I didn't like it enough to pick up the manga, I kept watching the anime out of sheer curiosity about "What will happen next?" I also really liked how the work portrayed the role of a "father." As the story progresses, you see people in different positions acting out of love for their children. Even though they stand in completely different places, perhaps to their own children, they are simply people who want to protect their family.
