Interesting Crocodile Facts

• A strip of tape can seal its mouth: Crocodiles have very powerful muscles to "close" their mouths, but extremely weak muscles to "open" them, so humans can even shut their jaws with their hands or simple tape. • Their closest relatives are surprisingly birds: Crocodiles are ancient creatures from the same era as dinosaurs, and their closest living relatives are actually birds. • Unlimited teeth replacement for life: If a crocodile's teeth wear down or fall out, new teeth can continuously grow to replace them throughout its life, so there's no fear of being toothless.
