Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A11 Japan Fair Food Recommendations 🤤

Visited the Japan Fair on a weekday when it's less crowded~ My favorite thing I tried this time was the Taiyaki! I got the milk flavor, which was $60 each. It had a custard cream-like texture and was sweet and delicious 👍 They're made fresh to order, so I waited about ten minutes in line. As for the Tamagoyaki, I loved the one from Tsukiji Market last year, so I bought one to try again this year. Maybe it was a different vendor, but it wasn't as amazing this time. It was just a sweet rolled omelet~ $80 per skewer. Last year's dashi broth flavor was more prominent. The grilled chicken skewers were pretty good! $60 each. Not too salty and very fragrant. However, maybe because they were grilled a bit too much, there was a slight bitterness, but it didn't detract from how tasty it was 🤤 I found the Okonomiyaki to be a bit ordinary 🥹 It was $250 per serving. But perhaps I'm not used to Japanese flavors. The salty sauce and salty mayonnaise on top made it too intense for me 🥲 And the ingredients were just a bit of squid, a bit of pork, and a bit of scallop. Felt a little disappointing. I don't think it's a must-buy~ If you have the chance, you should go check it out 😆 This fair is only running until November 3rd.
