I was stuck at home for two days last week due to the typhoon. So on Sunday, I had to go out and about 🏍 And try some of the delicious food recommended by Rong Fei. 🫓Delong Store | Water Cake (10 pieces for NT$50❗️) Understated Local Soul: It looks plain on the outside, but as soon as you open the package, you can smell the faint aroma of cinnamon and dough. Unique Texture: The texture is soft and chewy with a slight resilience. The slightly sweet and savory taste is very addictive. It's a Hsinchu exclusive, a traditional old-fashioned flavor that's hard to find elsewhere. 🫘Centennial Shop Xinfuzhen | Red Bean Mochi Cake There are some sesame seeds on top. When you cut it open, you can see the layered crispy pastry, filled with rich and smooth red bean paste, and a chewy mochi in the center. It's sweet but not greasy, but I didn't find it particularly delicious❗️ 🫔Yamada Mochi Studio | Assorted Mochi The packaging uses a retro Japanese-style paper wrap tied with twine, giving it a very artistic vibe. Inside, there's the signature 'Peony Fruit' mochi, rich chocolate, classic red bean, and sweet taro. The skin is thin and chewy, the fillings are layered, and the fresh chocolate is super delicious 🤤
