Info Share | "My Work is a Maiden's Love" Anime Scheduled for 2027 Broadcast

This manga by Akiyama Enma won 8th place in the 2024 Next Manga Award for the tankobon category. The anime is scheduled to air in 2027, produced by feel. CVs Saotome Noa: Rina Kawaguchi Otsuka Rito: Tomoya Ito Otsuka Rito, 23, is a game company employee who practices energy conservation and prefers to maintain his own pace. Saotome Noa, 27, is an art director with outstanding work performance and the trust of her colleagues. However, the seemingly perfect Noa is actually a woman with great emotional fluctuations, who gets lonely easily and is quite clingy! Through a chance encounter, Rito discovers Noa's unknown side, and the two gradually develop a friendship that goes beyond ordinary colleagues. Facing the emotional and always overly enthusiastic Noa, Rito consistently remains calm. This man and woman with completely opposite personalities will unfold a lively and somewhat subtle workplace friendship comedy! Rito's calm personality, not easily swayed by others, reminds me of Tani from "The Opposite Me and You." I wonder if their dynamic will be similar to Tani and Suzuki's too! 😆 I looked up some info, and although this work has a subtle romantic atmosphere, it's themed around "friendship between a man and a woman," and the relationship development seems quite slow. Also, the work includes a certain degree of male-oriented fan service, and other female characters will join later. While it's not confirmed if there will be a love triangle or harem elements, I'm getting a bit of a warning signal 🤣 I'll put it on my watchlist for now~

Let's Talk Anime -- "Gakuen Alice"

When I was little, I liked anime heroines with big, round eyes, and I was drawn in by the cute heroine on the cover. The title itself screams 'school drama,' and basically, the female lead transfers schools, and the protagonist (X) secretly transfers to that school to find her. This show starts off very lighthearted, with cheerful music and a bright, cute art style. However, the content is actually quite heavy. The protagonist transfers to this 'Alice Academy,' where everyone has their own 'Alice,' which is basically a 'superpower.' On her first day, she gets off on the wrong foot with the male lead (a popular figure) (a very typical romance drama setup). Then, he gets targeted by the male lead's devoted fans at school (a bit like bullying), and a teacher at the school has a bad impression of his 'nullification superpower,' giving him poor grades, making his life miserable. However, he later touches others with his very optimistic attitude. While he's like a little sun, he's not just a naive character. He has his own opinions and bravely protests things. What I remember vividly is that they are divided into four departments based on their Alices. He's in the 'Special Ability' department. There's a competition during the school festival, and everyone in that department had no hope for the competition, but the protagonist expressed her desire for everyone to work together and participate. She also came up with the idea of a live-action RPG game that only their department could pull off (I really wanted to play it too). Unfortunately, the anime only had one season. Because I really liked the main couple and was curious about the plot, I went to read the manga. It's really good. The story of the protagonist's parents is so tragic... and the protagonist later gains three superpowers. It also reveals the dark side of this academy.

Ave Mujica Movie Premieres Simultaneously in KR/JP on 10/16

Mujica's new movie, aka the Masquerade Ball (Excited) I'm really looking forward to it. Even though the main feature is only 50 minutes long, I want to see the premiere on the first day. I hope this movie isn't a compilation but a continuation of the first season of the Mujica anime, slowly filling in the plot holes left before, making Bandori great again, and saving the evaluation of Mujica's story that was ruined by the messy plot.

Please! Everyone Should Watch 'A Silent Voice'!

I highly recommend Kyoto Animation's movie 'A Silent Voice'! I strongly suggest everyone give it a try. It's adapted from Yoshitoki Ōima's manga, and the author consulted with the deaf community during its creation to ensure an authentic portrayal. This isn't just a simple romance film; its theme revolves around the difficulty of mutual understanding between people. The movie and manga have slight differences, with the film condensing the plot and focusing on Shoya Ishida and Shoko Nishimiya. Many schools in Japan even use it as anti-bullying educational material. In elementary school, Shoya bullied Shoko, who is deaf, and afterward, he was ostracized by his classmates, personally experiencing the pain of being excluded. In high school, filled with guilt, he learns sign language to apologize to Shoko. Many people online debate: 'Does a bully deserve forgiveness?' The movie doesn't offer an easy answer. Shoko's wounds won't disappear, and Shoya's atonement is about bravely facing his own mistakes. What moved me the most was how the film points out that the silence of bystanders is also a form of harm. Watching it made me reflect: a casual joke, a cold shoulder, can hurt someone. We need to learn to respect those who are different from us and not be silent bystanders.

Comic "The Villainess is a Puppet" 🧵👑

Adapted from the Korean web novel of the same name, the comic has concluded its run and is currently available on LINE WEBTOON. It will switch to "Completed Chapters" mode starting October 16th. The female protagonist, an office worker, resonated deeply with the villainess empress Kayena in a novel she was reading in modern times, who was manipulated and met a tragic end. She unexpectedly becomes Kayena after her death and remembers that she was originally her – reincarnated into modern times after dying in a past life, and now she's back before the tragedy unfolds. Having lived two lives and knowing the novel's future, this time she decides not to be controlled by others and to change her own destiny with her own hands. I really enjoyed the first half to mid-part of this comic! Although there was an initial awkwardness of "Everyone is surprised the protagonist has become smarter, but I haven't really felt how smart she is yet," she did gradually showcase her strategies later on. And the art style is truly gorgeous, with each character being more beautiful than the last, though many of them are a bit crazy 🤣 Also, the big dog character was cute 🐕 😆 Unfortunately, the plot in the latter half became very rushed. Many events progressed rapidly, and the supporting characters and subplots that were particularly set up earlier didn't receive sufficient explanation, leaving me constantly wondering, "Huh? That storyline just ended like that?" I ended up finishing it mostly out of a desire to see how the two would reach a happy ending, but there wasn't much of the sweet interaction I had been looking forward to 🤣 According to some readers' reviews, the original novel apparently has more complete descriptions and subsequent side stories, so these issues might stem mainly from the comic adaptation. Overall, it built up a lot of anticipation in the early stages but didn't provide a corresponding satisfaction in the ending, which is a bit of a shame~

Info Share | "Kono Manga no Koibito ni Narimasu" Anime to Broadcast in January 2027

Adapted from the manga of the same name, "Kono Manga no Koibito ni Narimasu" by Yumi Gohata (original) and Yu Kamata (art), which is currently still being serialized. Yuki Uehara, a high school student who dreams of becoming a manga artist, submits his own romance manga but is criticized by the editor for his unrealistic portrayal of love due to his lack of dating experience. Just as he is deeply discouraged and considering giving up on his dream, his manuscript is accidentally seen by Hinata Miyamoto, the popular gal in his class! Unexpectedly, Hinata, who seems to have no connection with Yuki, also harbors a dream of becoming a manga artist! To draw a more realistic romance manga, Hinata surprisingly proposes they start dating!? Thus, the otaku and the gal, using manga creation as a catalyst, begin a simulated romance that starts for the sake of research! I think I saw an introduction to this manga on YouTube before, and the premise is quite interesting! However, after looking into the subsequent developments of the original work, it seems there's a love triangle, and the manga also has some fanservice scenes geared towards a male audience, which are elements I'm not particularly fond of. But the characters' setup and interactions feel quite cute, so I'll reserve judgment for now and see how it goes~

Only 60 Minutes, Yet It Perfectly Captures the Starry Sky and Regret: Dream of Stars

This one is really short, you can finish it in under 60 minutes, so no need to commit to a long series. It's not the kind of heartbreaking story that involves loud shouting; it's quiet and slow, building up emotions that you can only truly feel by savoring it. The world-building is simple, focusing on the interactions between characters. The soundtrack is a definite plus. If you're looking for a short anime, don't want to binge a long series, and like a combination of 'end of the world' + 'gentle' themes, this is for you.

FX Warrior Kurumi What is FX (Spoiler Alert)

FX is foreign exchange margin (a type of futures trading). It's a currency you absolutely must not touch. In the anime, the leverage is only 59x, but in reality, it can go up to 200x (and maybe even over 1000x). What does this mean? If you invest 100 yuan to buy currency, you can earn up to 20,000 yuan, but conversely, you could also lose 20,000 yuan. In the anime, Kurumi's mother chose the Australian dollar (a relatively stable currency), but still lost 20 million yen. Forced Liquidation To allow you to stop losses in time, banks set a forced liquidation line at 25% of your total remaining balance. If you lose down to that line, you can stop your losses immediately. But it's not necessarily a good thing. If you hit that line and it bounces back up, you'll be crying your eyes out. There are pros and cons to the forced liquidation line, but there's something worse. It drops directly, preventing even the forced liquidation line from reacting. You lose until you go bankrupt. Playing FX is less practical than playing stocks. Taiwanese stocks have a 10% limit for the highest daily increase and decrease rate. You can react in real-time and play long-term. But in the end, I want to tell you that investment carries risks. Invest cautiously. Don't fall into the sunk cost fallacy.

Blue Dragon NDS Game and Anime

I recently took out my NDS games after a long time and started playing Blue Dragon. I found it quite interesting, and I hadn't played it for ages. I just looked it up and found out there's an anime. I'm curious if the anime's story is the same as the game. I'd like to ask those who have played the game and watched the anime: Should I watch the anime before playing the game? Or play the game first and then watch the anime? Or do they not affect each other, and the viewing or playing order doesn't matter? Thanks!
