What kind of image do you all have of dreams? For me, some dreams often consist of multiple parts. And it's not like they unfold over a few days, but rather, there are dreams that I recognize as continuations of previous ones, even with years in between. I once heard somewhere that people who dream in color have psychic abilities, and most of the dreams I remember are in color. With that preamble out of the way, I'll be posting parts of my dreams in the comments.

My friend called me all excited, saying that he and 4 other friends, making a total of 5 people including my cousin, went to the Old Ghost Tunnel for a dare. At the time, the Old Ghost Tunnel wasn't closed yet. It's now closed because there were many people like my cousin who caused trouble. When I asked for details, he said they had an unbelievable experience. So, the 5 of us went, but one of my friends got scared and said, "I really can't go in." So, reluctantly, my cousin and that friend stayed behind, and the other 3 went into the tunnel. They said they watched the 3 people go deeper into the tunnel with the car's headlights on in the distance, but suddenly the lights went out. Neither of them had touched the lights, and upon hearing their friends screaming because the lights went out, they hurriedly tried to turn the lights back on. But they wouldn't turn on. They turned off the engine once and restarted it, and the lights came back on. Just as they were relieved, the friend who was with them started yelling frantically, "Where the heck did those guys go?" When they looked, the 3 people who should have been in the tunnel were gone. No sounds either. They thought, "No way," and tried calling them, but couldn't connect. Ignoring his reluctant friend, he drove the car inside. The lights were only out for a few seconds, but they hadn't returned to the entrance.

As expected, when opportunities to talk about these things increase, people tend to lean on you, don't they? (￣▽￣;) My head felt heavy, I got on top of it, and was spacing out, so I almost hit someone (;-ω-)ノ I need to be careful not to tune into the same channel (￣▽￣;) You have to clearly define your boundaries or you'll get pulled in(*´・ω-)b

This happened recently. I attended a wake and a funeral. To be honest, I'm not a fan of funerals, or rather, wakes. A wake usually takes place around 4 PM for about 1-2 hours the day after the person passes away. But I'm not just uncomfortable with that time, I'm actually scared of it. When I'm near the deceased around that time, I get chills and goosebumps. No one else seems to experience this, only me. So, during that time, I usually avoid touching the deceased or getting too close. That day, I was alone in the room during that specific time. Thinking 'This is unpleasant,' I was in the wake room. After a while, I heard a 'knock knock' at the door. I thought it might be someone from the funeral home, and as I was about to open it, I heard 'knock knock' again. Without being able to say anything, the knocking continued. Just as I was about to say 'I'm coming out,' there was a loud 'BANG BANG!' on the door. Feeling something was wrong, I didn't open it. Still, the door kept getting hit with 'BANG BANG!' 'BANG BANG!'. I got scared and, for the first time, ran to the side of the deceased, which I usually avoid. But that day, something unbelievable happened: I didn't get goosebumps, nor did I feel chills. I was surprised, but I figured it was better than being scared, so I endured the fear there→

Behind the elementary school, there was a hill called Gotenyama, and we had the 'Gotenyama Marathon' every week for physical training. The beginner course was just going up and down the stairs. The intermediate course involved going up to the park at the top, running around the park's perimeter, and then descending back to school. The advanced course was a loop around the entire perimeter of Gotenyama. Partway through the advanced course, there was a tunnel that served as a shortcut, about 8 meters long. The tunnel itself was only about 4 meters high and could shorten one of the outer corners. It wasn't a huge time saver, but for elementary school kids, it felt like a great deal, so some students would occasionally use the shortcut. The incident happened when the baseball team was doing the Gotenyama Marathon as part of their club activities. They were all on the advanced course and decided to go through the shortcut tunnel. Inside, they found a man in ragged clothes who started chasing them, so they panicked and ran down Gotenyama. Club activities were also canceled for the girls' softball team, and the teachers went up Gotenyama to investigate. We students were never told what happened afterward, but the Gotenyama Marathon for club activities was discontinued. (The weekly school-wide marathon continued.)

It seems like the Seven Wonders of the World type of urban legends were popular when I was in elementary school. During the afternoon cleaning time, we were cleaning while telling ghost stories. The music room was on the first floor and faced the staff parking lot. 'It's scary if something happens in the music room, a typical school spot,' we said, laughing. As we were talking, a shadow suddenly slid across the wall. There were only two of us, including me, in the music room. I was dry-wiping the organ the students used, and the other person was sweeping trash in front of the trash can. So, there was no way a shadow could have stretched from one end of the music room to the other. I checked outside, but it was cleaning time, so there shouldn't have been any students or teachers in the staff parking lot. I still wonder what that shadow was.

My dad's hobby has always been riding motorcycles, and he apparently used to travel to various places on his bike before he got married. One day, he was out on a touring trip as usual. I can't say the exact location, but as he was passing by a certain dam and entering a tunnel, he heard another motorcycle sound from behind. However, there were no other motorcycles or even cars around; he was completely alone. As the motorcycle sound grew louder, my dad, though scared internally, sped up, determined not to be overtaken. But then, the sound suddenly vanished. He figured the bike must have passed him. The road he was on is known for being winding and having frequent accidents. It's likely the rider of that mysterious bike is no longer of this world.

A story that sends shivers down your spine when you hear it from a third party. My mother's family home was a farm, located in a rural area of Aichi Prefecture (originally a village, then merged into a town, and now part of a city). Perhaps because of that environment, or because she was the eldest daughter in a large farming family, my mother was often sent on errands to Nagoya when she was a child. When my mother was riding the train alone, a certain gentleman would get on at a specific stop. He often asked my mother to 'run an errand' for him. My mother used to say, 'As a child, I got pocket money, and all I had to do was deliver the bag he gave me, so I didn't think much of it.' She often said later, 'Now that I think about it, I wonder what I was actually delivering?' Was I being used as a courier?

I have no idea what it was, and I can't find it... I was arranging supplies on shelves at work when a white, fluff-like clump passed by my feet. It looked like a dandelion seed, about the size of a baseball. It was too big to be just fluff, and too white to be dust. It went under a shelf, but when I looked, there was nothing there... Even though it went under the shelf, there's about 50cm of space under all the shelves, and I don't keep anything on the floor. It should have been visible, but I couldn't find it anywhere around. It was recently renovated and is very clean, I mop every day, and there are no animals in the workplace. This workplace has no windows, only one door far away, and since it was winter, the air conditioning wasn't on. Coincidentally, there was no one around me; I was alone. Its movement wasn't rolling, but more like it was smoothly gliding... Several years have passed since then, but I still don't know what it was.
