This time, I'll introduce one of my recommended all-environment compatible worlds where you can play with dogs even from your smartphone. Try searching for the world name! …But first! Let's talk about a super useful way to use the normal mirror. In the options settings of the circular menu, go to the normal mirror settings, increase the mirror's transparency so it's almost invisible, and place it small in the very center of the screen pointer. Then, bring up the normal mirror, close the menu, and tap the mirror… and you can extend just your right hand forward! If you don't own VR, you'll need to use this in one of the worlds today, so remember it. 1. Happy Hill Dog Park A long-standing world where you can interact with dogs in the mountains. If you pick up a toy near each dog, they will follow you. If you throw it well, you can play with them. If you get a touch detection on their head, you can pet them. It's also nice to take a break around the campfire and stumps. 2. Traditional House Dog Run The technique mentioned at the beginning is essential in this world. There are various breeds of dogs, but you can't get a touch detection! However, if you extend your right hand forward and move it so that it touches the dogs' heads… they will react with a ♡. I think many people experience lag or crashes on smartphones, so this time I'll share some of the settings and methods I personally use. This time, only the highest priority items. Display FPS and Ping Tap the gear icon in the smaller square menu. Scroll all the way down to the first image, then tap the circle. It will then be displayed at the top of the menu. Avatar Display Settings While on the same screen, scroll up to the second image. Adjust the avatar culling. I often play with 4 people, so this is my setting. As I mentioned in a previous post, an FPS cap of 30 is sufficient. Turning off Pixel Lights is not recommended as it causes more issues. Face Mirror Settings In the round menu, go to Options -> Face Mirror and adjust to your preferred size/position/transparency. Turn it off if you don't need it. It improves overall visibility. VR Users (PCVR or Standalone Quest) Movement → Controller Pose → Reflects real-life movements. With 3-point tracking (head and both hands), head tilt is reflected. With full-body tracking, your entire body is reflected. Expression → The type of finger touching the controller links with the expressions set in the avatar. With face tracking, your real-life expressions are reflected. Desktop Users (PC Desktop Users) Movement → Keyboard WASD Pose → Sit with 'C', prone with 'Z' (default settings). First, VRC has more foreign users than Japanese users. If you enter a public instance of a world not intended for Japanese users, you'll likely encounter foreigners. Due to the culture overseas where copyright is more lenient, it's surprisingly common to find avatars of copyrighted characters or paid avatars that are not sample avatars uploaded without permission as public avatars. Wearing them itself is not good. However, there are a few exceptions. For example, 'Hatsune Miku' avatars are okay if they comply with both the character usage agreement and the secondary creator's usage agreement.
